Heres the 2 ways i do it. you can do the gel base+ regular polish + gel top coat. or just do regular base coat, nail polish then the gel top coat. i find the results really depend on the brand you use. i prefer Revlon or revlon colour stay gel envy. doing gel base +reg polish + gel top coat gives at least 2 +weeks no chips/ minor chip.
